Sanoma Trade has acquired the Helsinki-based marketing logistics company Postituspojat. The company holds a strong market position and business know-how in its field. Its operations include mailing, packing, control and acquisition of materials as well as warehousing. Postituspojat employs 30 persons.

Sanoma Trade's trade services business unit has in the past few years expanded its service offering from press distribution into merchandising and marketing logistics. The present acquisition supports Sanoma Trade's growth strategy in the field of marketing logistics and strengthens the basis for the development of these services. The target is to concentrate the sales of the present Lehtipiste marketing logistics into the Postituspojat unit in the future.

"Postituspojat has an active touch in developing partnerships and services within marketing logistics. Together with Postituspojat we can provide these services in a better way to both our old as well as new customers," Raimo Kurri, Senior Vice President for Sanoma Trade's trade services business, comments.

"For Postituspojat, this deal means a new owner with a strong willingness to develop our business further. We are able to gain new resources and invest in our business. In this way, we are better able to serve our customers with a versatile offering and with flexibility," Sari Lehtoaro, Managing Director for Postituspojat, describes.
