Sanoma Learning & Literature, a leading European provider of learning materials and solutions and Russia's largest educational publishing house Prosveshcheniye Publishers, have signed a partnership agreement. The partnership aims to combine forces in enhancing e-learning opportunities in the educational market of the Russian Federation. The first joint project is to develop tailor made e-learning products for students and teachers in Russian Primary and Secondary Education.
Those products represent some eight hundred educational lessons of the main subjects in Primary and Secondary Education, such as Mathematics', Social Sciences and Physics. They will be integrated into the educational materials from Prosveshcheniye Publishers. The content for those lessons is specially developed to meet the new standards in several subjects. During 2010 a total of 26 products will be developed and launched. There will be products for interactive learning, demonstration and exercising for students to use at school and at home. For the teachers in schools there will be book-related e-learning applications for digital schoolboards with tools for instruction, presentation, lesson building etc. Young Digital Planet, Sanoma's e-learning provider, will take care of the production of the e-learning content.
