Customers and advertising sales people have voted Sanoma Magazines Finland the country's best media sales organisation in a study conducted by IRO Research that interviewed 300 decision-makers in companies and media and advertising agencies.

The study covered 28 media companies and 10 online advertising sales organisations, and evaluated their operations according to 18 parameters. Sanoma Magazines Finland was ranked best, second best, or third best on 10 of these parameters, and received the most number-one rankings. The next-best company scored six top-three slots.

Respondents voted Sanoma Magazines Finland the best because of factors such as its reliability and trustworthiness, and the quality of its contact personnel. The attractiveness of the company's media portfolio, its marketing mindset, and the ability to measure the effectiveness of advertising placed with its publications were identified as other core strengths of Finland's leading magazine publisher.

"We have studied our customer satisfaction performance very systematically and focused on areas where our customers have said they would like to see improvements," says Clarisse Berggårdh, Director, Media Sales and Custom Publishing.

"The study's result is great recognition of the work that we've done and will encourage us to develop our services and capabilities further. Our popular print titles, together with our growing range of online services, offer advertisers a comprehensive package, and our sales organisation is always looking for new solutions that will benefit our customers."

IRO Research carries out its study of media sales performance annually.

Sanoma Magazines Finland is Finland's leading magazine publisher and part of Sanoma Magazines, the magazine division of the Sanoma Group.
