Sanoma Bliasak Bulgaria will launch on 9 May the first Bulgarian issue of National Geographic's popular monthly children's magazine NG Kids.

NG Kids Bulgaria offers children between the ages of six and twelve interesting stories about science, technology, natural wonders, wildlife, extreme sports and adventures. Apart from fascinating articles and wonderfully illustrated interesting facts, NG Kids Bulgaria offers its young readers fun English lessons. Each issue will feature an 'English for Kids' section, including glossaries and grammar. With the 'Small Talks' section, children will be able to practice the words and phrases they learn in new sentences. The correct pronunciation of words will be available at a similar section online at Kids.nationalgeographic.bg.


Every issue of NG Kids reaches over two million young explorers in the USA, Latin America, Europe and Africa. Yearly ten issues are published in 13 different languages. From May 2008 onwards, the Bulgarian language will join these ranks.

To introduce NG Kids, the April issue of National Geographic Magazine Bulgaria will already feature eight sample pages. Sanoma Bliasak Bulgaria, the publisher of NG Kids, plans an initial circulation for the magazine of 20,000. For 2.45 BGN (some EUR 1.25) every month readers will receive 40 intriguing pages. In connection with the launch, a special price is offered to subscribers.

Sanoma Magazines already publishes NG Kids in Hungary and National Geographic Magazine in seven countries.
