As of 1 of February 2008, Johan Merlevede (42) will be the new CEO of the Belgian educational publisher Van In, the strongest player on the Belgian market. Merlevede will succeed Van In's current CEO, Guy Claessens.

Previously, Johan Merlevede was Marketing Communications Director at Belgacom which is the leading Belgian teleoperator. He has studied classical philology and has many years of experience in marketing, sales and management positions.
