Movie visitors have found their way to the movie theatres also in the summer during the past couple of years. Last year July was record-breaking for Finnkino and this year people have visited movies more than ever before in June. There were almost 360,000 visits to Finnkino's movie theatres in Finland in June, an increase of almost 80,000 visitors compared to June last year.
The summer season began in May with Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with almost 250,000 viewers so far. Sex and the City continued the successful summer in June with some 300,000 spectators so far in Finnkino's theatres in Finland. Beside these movies, new premieres are attracting viewers every Friday: for example Mamma Mia! on 18 July and The Dark Knight on 25 July.
