Helsingin Sanomat has increased its holding in Skillnet Oy, the leading recruitment system supplier in Finland, from 38 % to 51.01 %. The entire ownership of Skillnet will eventually transfer to Helsingin Sanomat. The sellers are the company's current individual shareholders.
The deal will further strengthen Helsingin Sanomat and Oikotie.fi's market leadership in recruitment advertising.

Helsingin Sanomat is the leading national newspaper in Finland, with more than one million Finns as daily readers.
Skillnet Oy is a software company established in 2000 providing Internet browser based software for competence management, recruitment and substitute management as Application Service Providing (ASP) services. The company's customers include leading companies in both the public and private sector.
Oikotie is a market place for accommodation, cars, tourism, education and jobs, shared by eight newspapers - Helsingin Sanomat, Turun Sanomat, Etelä-Suomen Sanomat, Etelä-Saimaa, Hämeen Sanomat, Kouvolan Sanomat, Kymen Sanomat and Salon Seudun Sanomat.
Helsingin Sanomat Oy is part of the Sanoma division of the SanomaWSOY Group.
