AAC Global Oy, Finland's leading multilingual communications service company and a SanomaWSOY Group company has acquiredTranslation Services Noodi Oy. Noodi's net sales in 2006 were EUR 5.9 million and the company employs 44 people, all of whom will continue on as established employees.
Noodi is a Finnish technical communications service company providing translations, localization, documentation and corporate communications. Noodi's customer base includes several world leading IT and mobile communications firms as well as local public and EU organizations. The selling parties include Noodi's Managing Director and majority owner, Outi Niemensivu, as well as 15 key personnel with minority holdings, all of whom will continue in the company's employ.
The agreement implies that AAC Global will transfer all translation and localisation related businesses in Finland to the acquired company, which will operate under the name of AAC Noodi Oy. Outi Niemensivu has been appointed as the Managing Director of this company, as well as a member of AAC Global's General Management Team. Niemensivu will report to AAC Global's Managing Director, Janne Nevasuo.
