AAC Global, Finland's leading multilingual communication service company and a member of the SanomaWSOY Group, has acquired the Sweden-based language service company The Works, Sweden AB. The company will be integrated with the business operations of AAC Global's Swedish subsidiary AAC Global AB.
Established in 2002, The Works, Sweden AB focuses on multilingual business communications, language, rhetoric and presentation training programs. The company's products and services utilise modern technology in the form of, e.g., online training and learncasting. The Works is one of the leading providers of language training services that caters solely to the business sector and provides training in Stockholm, Malmö, Gothenburg and throughout Sweden.
The selling parties are Mr. Richard Mose, founder of The Works, Sweden AB, and Code AB, an investment and consultancy company with a minority shareholding in the company. Richard Mose will continue in AAC Global AB's employ, assuming responsibility for AAC Global AB's training services.
