One of Finland's leading lifestyle and home decoration magazines, Glorian Koti, is planning to launch an English-language sister publication in September. To be known as Gloria Home, the new magazine, which will have a print run of 50,000 copies, will target international readers around Europe interested in Scandinavian design and living, and Finnish developments in these areas in particular. Glorian Koti's Editor-in-Chief, Minna Juti, will head up the new magazine.

The first edition of Gloria Home will appear on September 5.

"Our aim is to produce a quality publication offering an international readership a doorway into the best the Finnish lifestyle has to offer. Following in the footsteps of our Finnish-language magazine, we will profile Finnish interiors, design, and the work of acclaimed Finnish designers. We will also feature articles on people's homes around Finland that we believe will inspire an international audience," according to Glorian Koti's Editor-in-Chief, Minna Juti of Sanoma Magazines Finland.

"Gloria Home will highlight the best that Finland has to offer, in an entertaining and attractive format with an emphasis on high-quality visuals".

"The launch of Gloria Home has been timed to coincide with the autumn round of conferences to be held in Finland as part of Finland's chairmanship of the EU and will target participants attending these, as well as lifestyle readers around Europe generally. We plan on distributing the magazine at international design and fashion events, as well as Finnish export shows worldwide."

The Gloria Magazines - Gloria, Glorian Koti, Glorian ruoka&viini, and Glorian Antiikki - are published by Sanoma Magazines Finland, which is part of SanomaWSOY's international magazine division, Sanoma Magazines.
