Dirk van den Bossche will leave his position as CEO of Sanoma Magazines Belgium as of July 1, 2006.

Mr Van den Bossche, who has been with Sanoma Magazines Belgium for almost 10 years, announced his resignation today, explaining that he wished to pursue a new career path.

A search is underway for his successor, he will be replaced temporarily by Ms Sandra De Preter, publishing director of the North and Humo clusters.

Sanoma Magazines Belgium publishes the Dutch-language magazines evita, Feeling, Feeling Wonen, Flair, Glam*it, HUMO, Libelle, Libelle Lifestyle Magazine, Marie Claire Vlaamse editie, Story, TeVe-blad, and the French-language magazines Femmes d'Aujourd'hui, Flair, Gael, Gael Maison, Marie Claire Belgique, Télé Moustique and Télé Pocket. Sanoma Magazines Belgium, which has over 500 employees, is also owner of ZappyBaby.be, Xquis.be, and Fitfixers.be.

Sanoma Magazines Belgium is part of Sanoma Magazines, one of the five largest consumer magazine publishers in Europe in terms of net sales. The division operates in twelve countries. In addition to publishing its strong portfolio of magazine brands for various reader communities, Sanoma Magazines is expanding its business to other media platforms, with a strong focus on interactivity.
