Finnish movie theatre chain Finnkino launched a new electronic ticket, Movie Card, on 11 November. Movie Card offers a new modern way to buy tickets for movies.
Movie Card is a credit card like, and tickets can be downloaded in five ticket lots. With Movie Card, series ticket discounts can also be used when buying tickets online. With Movie Card, the tickets reserved via internet can easily be picked up in movie theatres just before the movie.
Movie Card does not replace the traditional series tickets but complements Finnkino's ticket range. The traditional series ticket can be bought in Finnkino theatres as well as from retailers. New Movie Cards can be bought in Finnkino theatres.
