Sanoma Kaupunkilehdet (Sanoma Free Sheets) has signed an agreement with Concordia Bus Finland Oy Ab about the distribution of Uutislehti 100 in Concordia buses. The company has about 300 buses in the capital area, and its market share of the bus traffic in the area amounts to some 25%. The agreement is for three years, and it increases the sheet's circulation by some 15,000.

Thanks to the agreement, Uutislehti 100 will significantly strengthen its position in Helsinki metropolitan area's public transport. Previously, Concordia buses distributed the Metro sheet.

- This important addition to the distribution channels is part of the consistent work for developing Uutislehti 100 to be the leading media of the kind since last summer. We will further develop the sheet to meet the needs of our readers and advertisers, better and better. Through the agreement, the sheet will be market leader in the metropolitan area's public transport measured by distribution volume, says Niko Ruokosuo, President of Sanoma Kaupunkilehdet.

From June onwards, Uutislehti 100 will also be distributed in trams as a result of competitive bidding by Helsinki City Transport won by Sanoma. Consequently, the sheet will be available on stands at metro stations, too.

Thanks to the new agreements, Uutislehti 100's circulation will be over 100,000 as of June.

Sanoma Kaupunkilehdet Oy is part of the Sanoma division of the SanomaWSOY Group.
