WSOY has acquired Elisa Solution's eLearning business including i.e. Edofi, an eLearning solution for corporate use. The acquisition strengthens WSOY's position in the eLearning sector.
Edofi is an eLearning environment for companies that can be used without any server or software investments. Customers and partners of the program produce content to Edofi. Edofi complements WSOY's eLearning business, eWSOY. eWSOY's most important eLearning service, Opit is the first eLearning-solution for elementary schools in Finland.
The concentration of Edofi and Opit solutions enables better synergy in development and production. TietoEnator Oyj will continue as a strategic partner in developing e-solutions.
