Esmerk will extend its media monitoring to new regions at the beginning of March 2004.

The main emphasis of the extended activity will be on Middle East. The new countries are Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Quatar, Saudi-Arabia, Sudan, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

Iceland and the Asian countries Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia and Nepal are other new targets.

The changes are part of Esmerk's growth plan announced in 2002.

Esmerk supplies information about economic and other events in different markets, in total 127 countries. The news are read and translated into English from 29 languages. Customers in Finland are served also in Finnish.
