Aku Ankka (Donald Duck) is the most famous subscribtion-based magazine in Finland. According to Levikintarkastus Oy, its circulation grew to 295,000 in 2003. The second most famous is ET-lehti, which circulation rose to 264,558 in 2003.

According to Levikintarkastus Oy, circulation grew also in magazines related to living, building, gardening as well as children and juvenile publications, cartoons, science and culture magazines.

Taloussanomat showed the biggest growth of all the Finnish newspapers, with circulation of 34,800. Helsingin Sanomat, the biggest newspaper in Finland, had a circulation of 439,600 in 2003.
