Sanoma Budapest Kiadói Rt. will publish the first issue of the Hungarian edition of National Geographic Magazine under license of the National Geographic Society on 7 March. It will be the 22nd local-language edition of the popular magazine. The Hungarian edition will follow closely the editorial content of the American original, in the same format and with the familiar yellow-bordered cover.

National Geographic will bring its global adventures to readers in Hungary, broadening the international reach of the magazine that has set the standard for excellence in reporting, photography and mapmaking. The official journal of the Society provides in-depth editorial coverage of cultures, nature, science and technology. The magazine has a total circulation of around 9.5 million and is read in each country of the world.
