Ms. Pirjo Aalto (40), LL.M. (trained on the bench) and Senior Legal Counsel of Sanoma Magazines Finland, has been appointed Senior Vice President of the Juvenile Publications unit as from 1 April 2003.
Ms. Aalto joined Sanoma Corporation in 1992 and has gained versatile experience from the publishing sector working in different divisions of SanomaWSOY Group.
The best-known publication of the unit is Finland’s leading magazine Aku Ankka, the Finnish edition of Donald Duck. Further more the unit’s business activities include associated companies Egmont Kustannus Oy Ab and Oy Kirjalito Ab.
