Helsinki Media, part of recently created Sanoma Magazines, and Egmont Kustannus have agreed that the ski magazine, Skimbaaja, and the pet magazine, Lemmikit & Eläinmaailma, will be transferred from Helsinki Media to Egmont Kustannus. Under the same agreement, the business operations of the computer games magazine, Konsolipelaaja, will also be transferred from Egmont Kustannus to Helsinki Media.
The personnel of Skimbaaja and Lemmikit & Eläinmaailma will transfer under their existing contracts to Egmont Kustannus, in which Helsinki Media holds a 50% stake.
The deal is due to be completed on January 1 next year.
