Saab Aerospace has selected Docendo Sweden, part of WSOY's Docendo Group, to supply a package of eTraining solutions to enhance the IT skills of the company's personnel and reduce administrative costs. The agreement covers all Saab AB's wholly or partially owned companies.
"We decided on Docendo because of its eTraining methods and technology," says Robert Lundkvist of Saab Aerospace's HR function. "We wanted to go for a large, reliable supplier with a thorough understanding of eLearning and its opportunities. Docendo also offered a very favourable price."
In addition to purchasing 5,000 licences for Docendo's Simultan package for Office 2000, Saab Aerospace has also decided to buy customised KnowledgeWorks training for 1,200 of its people.
"Saab Aerospace has proved a very demanding customer," according to Docendo's Mats Österberg. "They know precisely what they need and want."
