Sanoma Media Finland centralizes the telesales and customer service operations of its Consumer Sales and Customer Relationships unit.  Due to changes 65 employees will be reduced in Tampere and Oulu.Centralizing telesales and customer service operations and harmonizing operating models is part of building up Sanoma Media Finland’s Consumer Sales and Customer Relationships unit which was launched in the beginning of June. Telesales, except for subcontracting, will be centralized to Oulu and Vantaa, and customer service operations to Vantaa. Due to closing of the telesales offices in Tampere and discontinuing the work of the customer service team in Oulu, a total of 65 employees will become redundant.  They will be offered work mainly in other locations.“We must be more agile in responding to changes in consumer behavior and customer needs, and we must create brand new consumer sales solutions.  Therefore we centralize our operations into efficiently led entities which can be developed in a goal-oriented manner. We try to soften the impact of personnel reductions with support packages and by offering work in other locations,” says Niina Ryynänen, Senior Vice President, Consumer sales and Customer Relationships.Changes in telesales and customer service operations were handled in the co-operation negotiations from 2 September–14 October.Additional informationCommunications Director Hanna Johde, tel. +358 40 673 8977
