Sanoma and Hearst Corporation sell their joint venture Sanoma Hearst Romania, one of the leading magazine and online publishers in Romania, to Burda International GmbH. This transaction marks the departure of Sanoma from the Romanian market.
The divestment is in line with Sanoma's strategy to focus its operations and divest selected ownerships.
The closing of the deal is subject to the approval by competition authorities.
