Last month, NTK has been awarded with a Comenius – EduMedia award for TeachAR – 3D World. The international jury awarded TeachAR, the educational software using the technology of 3D World augmented reality, as the best ICT based educational solution.
In the beginning of the year, TeachAR was already awarded with the Golden Seal of e-Excellence at the CeBIT in Hannover. TeachAR makes lessons more colourful by 3D content elements, to help understand the curricula.
The Comenius–EduMedia award (established in 1995) is one of the biggest awards in the multimedia educational product market. The GPI (Gesellschaft für Pedagogik und Information e.V.) that deals with training technology and mediadidactics, set up this honour and award for the best educational applicatons year by year through the international jury’s decision (10 members).
The jury awarded NTK’s TeachAR – 3D World in the educational multimedia product category.
Mr Péter Racskó (ICT director, NTK) comments: "Regarding our experiences this software helps efficiently the visual education. It’s important for us that it is the second prestigious price for TeachAR – 3D World, but much more important is the positive feedback from teachers and students.
