On 3 October 2012, Sanoma Corporation has received flagging notifications pursuant to Chapter 2 Section 9 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act concerning shares in Sanoma Corporation.

Aatos Erkko's estate announced on 29 May 2012 that the ownership to shares in Sanoma Corporation held by the estate (directly and indirectly via Asipex Oy) will be transferred to the Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation after the estate inventory has been concluded and the testamentary disposition has been executed. Today Sanoma Corporation has received flagging notifications stating that the ownership to shares in Sanoma Corporation held by the estate (directly and indirectly via Asipex Oy) has been transferred to the Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation in accordance with testamentary disposition that has been executed on 3 October 2012.

Following this, the shares held by the Aatos Erkko's estate in Sanoma Corporation decreased from the current 37,483,619 shares, to zero, i.e. 0.0000 per cent of all shares and votes in Sanoma Corporation. The holding of Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation of the shares and voting rights of Sanoma Corporation increased by the corresponding amount, thus exceeding 20 per cent of all shares and votes in Sanoma Corporation.

Sanoma Corporation has a total of 162,812,093 shares and votes. The Company has one share series, each share entitling to one vote.
