Finland's largest educational publisher WSOY Oppimateriaalit Ltd and WSOYpro, known for its b-to-b services, merge on 1 June 2009. Together they become Finland's leading developer of tools for knowledge and learning.
"We are well prepared to open up new markets and sales channels. Together we achieve larger target groups and are able to offer more versatile products and services through diverse distribution channels. Additionally, our training and online services enable us to widen our possibilities to distribute content, for example in the public sector," says Salla Vainio, Managing Director of WSOY Oppimateriaalit.
The name of the new company will be WSOYpro Ltd. The brand names remain the same as before.
WSOY Oppimateriaalit and WSOYpro are part of Sanoma Learning & Literature division of the Sanoma Group.
