Sanoma's President and CEO Hannu Syrjänen has been granted Media Influencer of the Year Award in Finland.
The choice was made by business, development and ICT managers from media sector in the annual invitation-only event, IndustryForum Media, arranged by Management Events on 26–27 May in Finland.
Hannu Syrjänen was chosen on the following grounds:
- Mr Syrjänen runs a media empire which has a lot of critical mass
- The media group run by Mr Syrjänen has successfully spread out across Europe
- Mr Syrjänen has proven his skills as President and CEO of a significant media group and has led it efficiently
IndustryForum Media gathered together hundred decision-makers from media industry. The event was arranged for the fifth time.
