Nelonen Media will bring Radio Aalto on air tomorrow, January 11, 2007. The new channel promises to offer relaxation for its audience in their everyday life, and its selection of programmes is targeted "early adaptors". Over 3, 5 million Finns are potential listeners of this new radio channel.

According to Mr. Juha-Pekka Louhelainen, President of Nelonen Media, Radio Aalto and earlier started Radio Rock enrich company's offering in the field of electronic communications.

"These two channels have differentiated target audiences. They support well the targets of Nelonen Media to be heard among the people of the group so called early adapters," states Louhelainen.

The programme content of Radio Aalto is a mixture of talk shows and soft, relaxing music. Talk shows will be hosted by some of the most popular radio voices and the play list is selected in accordance with survey carried out among potential listeners.

Nelonen Media offers TV, radio, online, and mobile content in Finland. It is part SanomaWSOY's electronic media Division, SWelcom.
