Sanoma Uitgevers takes a 40% stake in the new online ticketing service Mr. Ticket. This fits the goal of Sanoma Uitgevers to develop and strengthen its position in the online market.

The website offers the opportunity to purchase and print entry tickets for over 60 different amusement parks in the Netherlands The customer can enter the park with the printed ticket and avoid potential queues. MrTicket is also planning to introduce flexible entry rates for events.

"This is an obvious extension of the services of Sanoma Uitgevers, both from an online perspective as well as a magazine point of view. The consumer expects complete service at one spot. With MrTicket this will be possible," states Paul Molenaar, COO of Online and Media Innovation at Sanoma Uitgevers. currently employs seven persons.
