Oy Suomen Medianelonen Ab, a company responsible for selling advertising in Nelonen tv-channel, will be merged with its parent company, Oy Ruutunelonen Ab, as of 31 December 2004. As a result of the merger, employees at Medianelonen will transfer to Ruutunelonen retaining their existing employment benefits. The merger does not have any effect to personnel.
The objective of the merger is to improve efficiency in SWelcom Division and in Nelonen by reducing of legal entities and internal invoicing.
Ruutunelonen is part of SWelcom, SanomaWSOY's electronic media division.
